So as some of you know, I left Melbourne 3 months ago with my new secondhand Toyota Hi Ace van filled with My Mum's Real Vintage https://www.ebay.com.au/usr/chocolatescorpi and my own Chocolate Scorpion Creations designs https://www.chocolatescorpioncreations.shop/ to go traveling with one of my oldest and dearest friends @cathstar1.
Our 2 vans
The first leg of my journey from Melbourne to Corowa to collect Cath, then Goulbourn for the night, then arriving in Murrays Beach.
Stopping at Gundagai in NSW.
And for the first three months we had the amazing opportunity to house sit a gorgeous three story home with immaculate, native landscape gardens leading down to the edge of Lake Macquarie at Murrays Beach in New South Wales where I was able to take thousands of photographs of the beautiful birds and stunning sunsets- among other things.
Aswell as meet some of the locals too.
Catherine Hill Bay
But all good things must come to an end for other amazing adventures to start.
So after our three months was complete, we left just two days ago to travel to far North Queensland and so for our first days drive we made it just in time for this stunning sunset at Forster/ Tuncurry in New South Wales.
Where we also had the opportunity to meet some of the locals.
After we settled in for the night at the beautiful reflections caravan park, https://reflectionsholidays.com.au/parks/forster-beach/ we took ourselves off for a walk through this gorgeous Little main shopping area to find these absolutely stunning stunning cafes and restaurants.
Then, as we were walking around mesmerised by this gorgeous little shopping precinct we discovered the river behind.
And as we were standing there doing an ironing over this unexpected surprise we heard enchanting music coming from this gorgeous building a block away and traced walk towards it to find this stunning establishment called the Sicilian.
We couldn't help ourselves and absolutely had to have a look upstairs where we found the most decadent, incredible, beautiful restaurant that words cannot describe and decided to have a nightcap.
Although it was incredibly hard, we left only to find ourselves somehow mysteriously and magically standing in front of this intriguing cafe.
And of course, being in the curious person that I am- nothing to do with being a hopeless sweet tooth..... I had to- after much deliberation, choose which one of these Turkish deserts I wanted to try.
And I'm sure you can imagine it was a tough decision so I would love to see which one- or ones, you think I decided to try.
The next morning we're up bright and early so we can try and catch the sunrise and also check out this gorgeous spot in the daylight.
Then we hunted around for fresh juices and finally found them along with these gorgeous daytime shots of the Marina.
After the delicious fresh juices we found ourselves looking down this enchanted pathway which took us to a walk ride around the Hedland and down to 1 mile beach
This is lookout that we were standing on when we first got there
And this is where we ended our adventure for Forster Tuncurry area.
Anyway, there is so much more to our adventures and just not enough time to go through it all at the moment because right now it's 11 pm and I have to get up at 5:30 am to get ready to set up to sell My Mum's Real Vintage, my own Chocolate Scorpion Creations designs and a whole bunch of secondhand clothes at the Bellingen markets in the morning with @cathstar1 and then we're off to South Grafton for a winter solstice party around a Stonehenge with another old friend so as soon as I can, I will give you more details on the rest of our adventures because after Forster, there was also Diamond Beach, Lake Cathie, Crescent Head, Sawtell now Bellingen and it's only our second day!
Thank you so much for reading my post, I really hope that you enjoyed it and look forward to your comments and thoughts.
