Hello Hive Fam, most especially my co-Filipino Hive Friends! I hope everyone is doing well and finding joy in the little blessings of everyday life. Today, I want to share a simple yet heartwarming story about food, kindness, and community spirit.

One of our gentle neighbors recently offered something truly helpful: packs of tuyo (dried fish) and dilis (anchovies) with a one-month pay scheme. Yes, uncooked of course, but what a thoughtful gesture! For people like me who sometimes run out of budget, this was a big help.

Without hesitation, I got one pack each. I cooked them right away and enjoyed them for my breakfast and dinner. For lunch, I had a different viand, but honestly, nothing beats the comfort of tuyo and dilis with rice. The salty, savory taste reminded me of home and made me appreciate how even simple meals can bring happiness when shared with kindness.

It’s moments like these that remind me how blessed we are to have neighbors who care. Food may be simple, but the gesture behind it is priceless.

Thank you, Hive Fam, for reading my little food story today. I’m grateful for this community where we can share not just our meals, but also the stories of kindness that make life brighter. Until next time, let’s continue to support each other and celebrate the small wins that keep us going. 💙
