Hello Hive Fam, and most especially my co-Filipino Hive friends in the BayaniHive Community! I hope this post finds you all in good spirits and full of gratitude today.

Earlier today, I was blessed with a thoughtful gesture from my generous neighbor. For lunch, she handed me a steaming bowl filled with chicken wings and chicken feet tinola.

Tinola, as many of us know, is a comforting Filipino dish, a ginger-based soup often cooked with green papaya or sayote, and malunggay leaves. But what made this meal extra special was not just the flavor, but the kindness behind it.
The chicken wings were tender and savory, while the chicken feet added that unique texture and richness to the broth. Each spoonful reminded me of the warmth of Filipino hospitality, how food is more than nourishment, it’s a way of showing care and building community.
Moments like this remind me that the BayaniHive spirit is alive in our everyday lives. Generosity, bayanihan, and the joy of sharing are values that connect us deeply as Filipinos. A simple bowl of tinola became a symbol of friendship, kindness, and the beauty of neighborly love.
To my readers, thank you for joining me in this little story of gratitude. May we all continue to celebrate the small acts of kindness that make our days brighter. And to my neighbor, maraming salamat po for the delicious tinola that truly warmed my heart and tummy!
