De por si cada año es mágico y si nos enfocamos en nuestras raíces y su proyección actual, tienden a cambiar por las diversas situaciones ya sea: por economía o el pensar o elección de religión que tenga los miembros del seno familiar, donde se respeta los gustos y colores de cada individuo.
Para los católicos es la temporada del perdón y la reconciliación con nuestros semejantes, época de compartir en familia y amigos, donde con fe, vida y salud toda es posible.
Los días centrales son jueves y viernes santo, estos días se acostumbra visitar los siete templos a pie, pero este año no fue posible, debido a que estoy embarazada y he tenido muchos síntomas.

Con el tiempo perdura la tradición, desde mis raíces se acostumbraba hacer los 7 platos en casa, pero la situación económica venezolana nos ha limitado un poco a la hora de ejecutarlos en su totalidad, sin embargo hemos hecho el esfuerzo de elaborar lo básico a la hora de almorzar como es la sopa de pan, el mojo de pescado seco(en mi caso de dorado), ensalada cruda con el famoso cambur verde y algunos que otros dulces con base de panela, destacando en mi caso los de higo y coco hechos a leña para no perder el sazón andino que ha abrazado a mi familia a lo largo de generaciones.

Si de platos deliciosos se trata, el ingenio para preparar comidas debe estar a flor de piel, para reemplazar ingredientes que no se consiga o que no se pueda comprar y de acuerdo a eso aumentará o disminuirá las cantidades.
En cuanto a los dulces es una actividad muy entretenida, aplicando técnicas culinarias, como picar, mezclar, acaramelar, temple, entre otros, donde se ríe con los pequeños de la casa y culminamos con un gusto al paladar.

Las recetas familiares, los sabores y olores que nos transportan al pasado o inclusive lo traen al presente evocando sentimientos acordes a la época.
Pueden pasar muchos años, el tiempo no borra lo hermoso del compartir y saborear el sazón de casa.
Siempre se nos viene a la mente a nuestros seres o pilares que hacen única la temporada y de acuerdo a eso nos permite entender que se rompen estigmas en pro de la unión y la felicidad de la familia y allegados dando y recibiendo ese amor que caracteriza tan reconocida fecha.
