Gajar ka halwa is seasonal sweet dish but this kheeranand we can have it at any seasons and have it.
Everybody must be thinking of what is Keeranand ?
Kheeranand is made up of Rice, milk, ghee, sugar and dryfruits. This is an Indian version of kheer. But little diffrent than kheer. It is thicker and puffier. This recipe is simple easy and delicious which you can make on chritsmas and New year.
♡♡IN THIS RECIPE I WILL SHARE WITH YOU A TIP TO GIVE A NICE COLOUR WITH THE HELP OF SAFFARON♡♡

✅milk-1ltr
✅ghee-½ghee
✅dryfruits- according to your wish
✅saffaron-5 -6 strands

METHODS
1.Take a heavy kadhai and add ghee, then put Basmati rice or any kind of rice(white).
2.roast it for 5 min in low flame.
3.Keep stirring.
4.now add full fat cream boiled milk.
5.keep stirring till it boils.
6.now in a mortar pestle add saffaron strands.
7.further add ice cubes.
By this method we can get nice colour of saffaron.
You can see in the pic how nicely the colour came out after adding the ice cube.
Keep aside this
Now give a boil and let it cook for 30 to 45 mins in low flame.
But make sure that you should keep stirring in between.
Check once when the rice is cooked.
Meanwhile chop the dryfruits like - pistachio, almonds, cashews, and raisins.
Stir the milk and rice. Then add sugar.
Mix it.
Now add the saffaron paste and chopped nuts.
Mix it properly.
You can see it became thick now.
This is the natural colour of saffaron.
I didnt used any artificial colour .
After cooling down you can serve this kheeranand in a bowl and have it with live.
I hope this Christmas you will try this sweet Recipe and have it in your menu.
