lol Aww you make me blush - thank you. I decided to shallow fry in this attempt - it worked well and was delicious indeed.
Thanks again - we now have a new favourite recipe. I will experiment with thinner deep fried pieces as chips(fries) to serve as a snack with dips.
I had a go at your recipe last night and I have to say, although reluctantly, that it was tastier than my deep-fried wobbly thingies. My family send their profuse thanks.
