Hello, good day!
My morning is so cold. I woke up really early and it was so cold, the kind of cold that makes your fingers shiver and you really have to look for your hoodie jacket so you won't feel cold anymore. HAHA The cold I felt was also relaxing, just peaceful. I got hungry this morning, so I thought of looking for a place for my breakfast. The hunger I'm feeling is the kind that craves chicken inasal and pansit. I'm hoping that the place I'm going to has those available; they really are mouthwatering. This morning, I don't have work, so I really have time to look for a place to eat. I also want to try out other places to eat here, so thank you that I have time to look for them. As time goes by, I can also hear the vehicles outside, well, of course, I'm in the city now, so this is really expected. If you're wondering if I'm with someone, no, haha. I just want to eat alone and wander around, so to speak, morning me time, haha. Now, I'll try to find a place to eat this morning, not too far but worth the time, everything, hehe. I'm excited for my new food experience here in the city.
So, after a few minutes of traveling, I found this place. This is the spot I was looking for, it's in the city above SM in Metro Manila. I haven't tried it yet, so let's see what they offer for breakfast. Since I haven't tried it here, I'm excited to taste their food, hahaha. But yes, I'm sure there are dishes here that I'm looking for. I also noticed that there were already people here, sitting at their respective tables, while others were standing to take pictures of the place. Maybe they're taking pictures like me so they can share their experience on their blogs, hahaha just kidding but who knows, right? But anyway, here it is, the place I found is beautiful, it's fresh, peaceful, far from the noise on the road since it's up high. I came here really early, but there were already quite a few people, maybe their food is really delicious, people keep coming back. Besides that, the design of the place is aesthetic and simple, and their staff are kind because as soon as I arrived, they were already smiling, which is nice. I haven't even sat down yet, you know.
So this is the other perspective of the place, when you sit on that chair, this is its front, isn't it beautiful? What do you think about that? The view is truly 100% while enjoying the food you ordered. It's nice to chat with friends in places like this, but for now, I'll be alone. No worries, I'll bring my friends here next time. While I was admiring the view, the staff arrived so I could choose my food. They have so many choices on their menu, all incredibly delicious—waffles, pancakes, toast, and so much more. But of course, I'll tell you later what I really ordered heheheh. While waiting for my orders, I looked around again, they were having coffee. Even though I want to have coffee, it's really not allowed for me. Maybe I'll try it next time when it's allowed for me. I didn't have that much trouble choosing my food because everything I like was already on the menu, so I really want to eat because I'm getting hungry hahahah.
Surprised! The food has arrived! Hahaha when the food was served to me, all I could say was "wow, this is delicious." I told myself, "success, it suddenly succeeded." Hahaha, waiting step by step was worth it because there was delicious food to be served. So this is my order, chicken inasal, then pancit with lots of vegetable toppings, and squid stuffed with ingredients. I also added extra rice to the squid because it was a bit small. Then I added nachos, and I also had it with orange juice and something like a sundae.
What I can say about the inasal is that it's good, the meat is tender, and even without sauce, it's really flavorful, just perfect. The squid, on the other hand, is also delicious and tender. I thought it would be tough, but it wasn't at all, hahaha, it's perfect. The nachos, it was my first time eating them, they were crunchy and the vegetables were delicious, also perfect. For the pancit, I shouldn't have added calamansi because it got a bit sour, like I added too much, but it was okay, 100/100. The orange juice was just okay, and the same goes for the sundae, but the sundae was really sweet, huhuhu. But guys, overall, I rate all the food 100/100. I will definitely come back here and bring my friends so we can chat, hahaha. But for now, I've realized a lot because, you know, I was alone, it felt like I had some me time, so I'm thankful for today. Aside from the delicious food, I really enjoyed my time here. After I finished eating, I paid the bills and then thanked the staff. They said I should come back again, and I replied, "Yes, I will definitely come back," while smiling as I talked to them. Their staff are really kind too. I went home smiling and full.
I just realized that sometimes in our lives, it's the simple things that make us happy, like a cool morning, delicious food, and a friendly place. Isn't it that having me time to reflect is also important? So if we have the chance to wake up early and have breakfast in a cozy spot, let's grab the opportunity to relax as well. Who knows, you might find your favorite place if you haven't already. HEHEHE
