Hello from Machan's Kitchen
Today was a day off and I honestly didn’t feel like cooking for long, but I still wanted my lunch to be healthy and delicious.
This meat and green bean combination was not only quick to prepare, but it also really filled me up and satisfied me.
It feels good to know that your food is helping both your body and your fitness goals.
I hope you try it and let me know if you fell in love with the garlic and sesame oil aroma as much as I did.
Ingredients:
- Veal fillet: 70-100 grams
- Onion: 1 small (for seasoning the meat)
- Olive oil: 1 teaspoon (for seasoning the meat)
- Salt and black pepper: as needed
- Garlic powder: ½ teaspoon
- Green beans: 150 grams
- Sesame oil: 1 teaspoon
- Worchester sauce: 1 teaspoon
- Fresh garlic: 1 clove, minced
- Protein toast: 1 slice
- A combination of Greek yogurt and Icelandic yogurt: 130 grams
How to prepare:
Boil green beans with a little salt and pepper until soft, then drain and fry in a pan with sesame oil.
Add the chopped garlic and fry briefly to release its aroma.
Add the Worcestershire sauce and stir a little.
Fry the beef fillet, which you have previously seasoned with onion, olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder, in another pan over high heat until it is roasted and juicy.
Add the meat to the green beans, fry briefly and then remove from heat.
Serve with protein toast and protein yogurt.
This dish is perfect for days when you don't have time but don't want to sacrifice quality nutrition.
I love to whip up a quick meat and vegetable combo and serve it with something simple like protein toast.
