Today I spent the day with my friends in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. While waiting for the train to Plovdiv, we stopped for lunch. The dish called ODYSSEY blew me away. Pork with blackberry sauce. Here is a brief description of this sauce
Add blackberries and, stirring constantly, add peeled and grated ginger, sugar and a pinch of salt and cook for another 5-7 minutes. It can be without sugar with the addition of white wine. Excellent taste, goes well with all kinds of meat and mashed potatoes, although it is not necessary.
