I think this is the first time I've seen gnocchi, and I haven't tasted one before. It looks simple and delicious. I am a bit confused when you said it was a first course. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that usually the appetizer? But having dough for appetizer can be a bit filling right? I confirm that this is not an appetizer, but a first course. in my research I found that this type of pasta actually seems to have Italian origins, the country where I live. I'm not sure what country you live in, but at this point it could very well be that you've never seen them.
