Hello, how are you? Today I bring you another mini blog post about my weekend at my aunt and uncle's house where we celebrated their 46th birthday or mother of pearl wedding celebration in which they were accompanied by my cousins, other aunts and uncles, their grandchildren and my mom and me. Before I explain, I first wanted to tell you about mother of pearl weddings and why this was a very nice celebration for everyone.

The nacre wedding is a poetic and symbolic expression that refers to 50 years of marriage, that is, the golden wedding anniversary. The term "mother-of-pearl" refers to mother-of-pearl, a precious and shiny material that symbolizes beauty, durability and purity, characteristics that are traditionally associated with people who have reached this milestone in their married life.

Celebrating mother-of-pearl weddings is a special moment in a couple's life, as it represents the love, dedication and complicity they have shared over five decades together. It is a significant achievement that deserves to be commemorated with joy and gratitude, not only for the time elapsed, but also for all the moments shared, the challenges overcome and the experiences lived together. During a mother-of-pearl wedding, it is common for the couple to renew their wedding vows in a special ceremony, in which they reaffirm their commitment and love for each other. It is also an occasion to gather family and close friends, who celebrate this milestone together with the couple, sharing moments of joy, emotion and memories.

That is why our celebration was so enjoyable. My aunt and uncle had planned to grill chicken, beef, chorizo and pork and it was very good, plus the dressing and spice they had made for it. Besides, while we were waiting for the grill to be done we were drinking a liquor called Caroreña, it is like a wine that they sell here in Venezuela. It was a very cool sharing among family, telling anecdotes and also learning about family things we didn't know. There were many surprises that day. We also ate a tres leches cake with decorative cookies and arequipe, it was also very good and delicious. We took a lot of pictures and it was all very nice, I liked it a lot. Hola, ¿Qué tal? Hoy les traigo otro mini blogsito acerca de mi fin de semana en casa de mis tíos donde celebramos sus 46 años o celebración de bodas de nácar en la cual estuvieron acompañados de mis primos, otros tíos, sus nietos y mi mamá y yo. Antes de explicarles, primero quería hablarles acerca de las bodas de nácar y porque esta fue una celebración muy bonita para todos.

Las bodas de nácar es una expresión poética y simbólica que hace referencia a los 50 años de matrimonio, es decir, a las bodas de oro. El término "nácar" se refiere a la madreperla, un material precioso y brillante que simboliza la belleza, la durabilidad y la pureza, características que se asocian tradicionalmente a las personas que han alcanzado este hito en su vida matrimonial.

Celebrar las bodas de nácar es un momento especial en la vida de una pareja, ya que representa el amor, la dedicación y la complicidad que han compartido a lo largo de cinco décadas juntos. Es un logro significativo que merece ser conmemorado con alegría y gratitud, no solo por el tiempo transcurrido, sino también por todos los momentos compartidos, los desafíos superados y las experiencias vividas en conjunto. Durante las bodas de nácar, es común que la pareja renueve sus votos matrimoniales en una ceremonia especial, en la que reafirman su compromiso y amor mutuo. También es una ocasión para reunir a familiares y amigos cercanos, quienes celebran este hito junto a la pareja, compartiendo momentos de alegría, emoción y recuerdos.

Es por ello que nuestra celebración fue muy amena. Mis tíos habían planeado hacer una parrilla con pollo, carne, chorizo y cochino estaba muy buena además de aderezo y picante que le habían hecho. Además de que mientras estábamos esperando que la parrilla se hiciera estábamos tomando un licor que se llama Caroreña, es como un vino que venden aquí en Venezuela. Fue un compartir muy chévere entre familia, contándonos anécdotas y además de eso enterándonos de cosas familiares que no sabíamos. Fueron muchas sorpresas ese día. También comimos una torta de tres leches con galletas de decoración y arequipe, también estaba muy buena y rica. Tomamos muchas fotografías y fue todo muy bonito, me gustó bastante.
