Lovely shots. What kind of bird nest do you think this is?

Hello @corvidae friend! Thank you for stopping by and appreciating my work... Those nests are of small weaver birds called by the people here “Tutí”... But I don't know their scientific name, I know that they are an insectivorous species of brown color and they are difficult to see, they don't usually enter or leave their nests when they feel human presence near... :(

Hi! I've been busy with life, but thanks for sharing about this bird. I looked it up, is it a gold colored bird with a black head? I also looked up weaver birds and they are closely related to the orioles we had in my backyard in Southern California. I loved orioles, they build super cool hanging nests.

Hello @corvidae friend!... I hope everything is okay!... Well, that black-headed golden one is the African Weaver I suppose and it also flies here during the rainy season... But the bird that makes those nests is more like a small cuckoo... I have also seen oriole nests which are similar, but this one is a small bird (very small compared to the nest) I will try to take a photo of them to show it to you, they are very nervous and abandon the nest or hide as soon as there is human presence, but perhaps it is possible...😃👍

Thanks for staying in touch!... Happy week!
