Taking a Break / Tomando un Descanso
I walk through many places during my day, and it’s always good to take a break and get a breath of fresh air. That inspired this series, where the sun becomes truly overwhelming. Summer in Lima is literally a sauna you sweat endlessly, and with humidity at 90% or more, it turns into boiling steam.
As I’ve mentioned in other posts, Lima is the second-largest capital built in a desert, which makes the heat quite unpleasant. And for those of us who come from the Andes . I’m someone who gets warm easily it becomes even more intense. I see everyone looking for a bit of shade to escape, rest for a moment, relax, and then return to their duties.
The weather keeps getting more extreme, which is why we must take care of the climate; climate change is inevitable. Good vibes and energy to all. I hope you enjoy my photos.

Tomando un Descanso / Taking a Break
Camino por muchos lugares durante mi día y siempre es bueno tomar un descanso, una bocanada de aire, y eso me inspiró a esta serie donde el sol se vuelve abrasador. El verano en Lima es un sauna literal: sudas demasiado y toda la humedad, al 90% o más, se convierte en vapor hirviendo.
Como comenté en otros posts, Lima es la segunda capital más grande ubicada en un desierto, y eso la hace poco agradable. Y nosotros, como seres de los Andes yo soy bastante caluroso, lo sentimos más. Veo a todos buscando un poco de sombra para escaparse, descansar, relajarse y volver a sus labores.
El clima cada vez es más intenso, por eso debemos cuidarlo; el cambio climático es inevitable. Buenas vibras y energías. Espero que disfruten de mis fotografías.
