Here again, finally. A while ago, while waiting for our movie to start, I stopped by for a rather late lunch. This is one of those restaurants that serves rice bowls, as the name suggests—Mangkoklu—which means "my bowl."

Mangkokku Restaurant is located in Senayan Park, near the Lobby Ground. As soon as you enter, you'll find the tiny Mangkokku restaurant on the right. Although small, it's large enough to accommodate dozens of customers. Check out the unique decor. There are so many woven caping (hats)—a kind of farming hat—hanging from the ceiling. Some are used as lamp holders, while others are left as decorations.
The Fried Chicken with Sambal Ijo
I ordered the usual menu—Fried Chicken with Sambal Ijo. It was a kind of plain and simple dish with green chili sauce. Unfortunately, this restaurant doesn't have any menu options with soup. They're all dry dishes. But since this is a once-in-a-while thing, I didn't mind when my friend invited me here.
The portion was also just enough for me, not too much, not too little. Like other fried chicken, what I like about this fried chicken is that it has no bones. So I can just chew on it. And the sunny side up egg too, yummy. You know, I've been really obsessed with sunny side up eggs lately.
Anyway... Hasta La Vista...
