Hello everyone..
I was thinking about this today. It's about places where you can do things that other people don't—well, mostly, going out alone or having me time.
This is one of my habits, where I need to take time for myself by visiting new places. It's a brave act because sometimes the new places I visit don't feel comfortable, but that's the beauty of me time in a new place. I can look around me and start contemplating. The little things I've done always get evaluated when I'm here. About what I've done, whether I should do it again, whether it's worth it, and whether I shouldn't do it because I've already tried it.
The unpredictable weather lately didn't dampen my spirits. After a bit of searching, I finally landed on this place: a coffee shop—it had that name, but it looked more like a modern restaurant—what kind of traditional one could it be?
Okay, this time our exploration was in South Tangerang, at a cozy-looking restaurant. Luckily, the rain didn't affect the semi-outdoor layout, so it was a pleasure to stop by and order something delicious and sweet.

I ordered a portion of Acehnese noodles—you know, I'm a fan of Acehnese noodles, and when I lived in Jakarta, I had a hard time finding Acehnese noodles that tasted like the ones I'd had in Medan. So when I saw Acehnese noodles on the menu, I wasn't going to waste the opportunity to see if this time I'd found the Acehnese noodles I was craving. Well, this time it still wasn't quite what I was looking for, but it wasn't that bad.
Selain mie aceh, aku memesan kue cane yang diolesi kental manis, cukup membuat hari yang sendu menjadi terasa lebih baik. Snack ini tentunya tidak bisa langsung kuhabiskan, ya jangan mengira aku melahapnya sekali saja. Aku butuh waktu yang lama untuk membiarkan mie aceh di dalam perlut membuat perutku ringan lebih dulu.
So, this is something I often do when I need to be alone in an open space. For me, me time doesn't always mean being alone and locked in a room. It's also necessary to be alone in crowded or new places to allow for contemplation.
