Three days ago, I tried making cream cheese for the first time. As I mentioned before, there are many recipes I want to make that require cream cheese as an ingredient. The cream cheese I made turned out very impressive. It was fragrant, creamy, and felt safe because I used only fresh milk and lime juice. If you want to try it, here is click my cream cheese-making process. The steps are very simple.
Of course, the dessert you see contains cream cheese. I named it "Crispy Stars with Cream Cheese and Strawberry Jam." It's sliced bread that I shaped into stars, baked until crispy, and then filled with cream cheese and strawberry jam. Below are the steps I'm sharing.

INGREDIENTS
- Sliced Bread (crusts removed)
- Salted Butter
- Cream Cheese (100g)
- Icing Sugar (40g)
- Strawberry Jam
INSTRUCTIONS
I'll mix the cream cheese filling first

Prepare a mixing bowl, add the cream cheese, and use a whisk or fork to knead it until smooth. Then, add the icing sugar and beat or mix until the ingredients are well combined and smooth.
Scoop the cream cheese into a piping bag and refrigerate it. Chilling will thicken the filling, making it easier to pipe.
While the cream cheese is chilling, I'll prepare the bread. Today, I got creative and made star shapes. It's very simple to do; you can follow these steps:

Start by cutting the bread slices into circles. Then, make cuts to form the star points.
Fold the pointed sections inward and press gently. Repeat this for all five points.
Melt the salted butter and brush it onto the star-shaped bread.
Bake in an oven at 180 degrees Celsius. It took me 10 minutes to get crispy star-shaped bread.
Let it cool on a rack.

Take the cream cheese in the piping bag and gently pipe it into the stars.
Drizzle with strawberry jam, or you can change it to another jam you prefer.
The flavor of the homemade cream cheese is fragrant and rich, with a subtle tang from the lemon juice and a delicate sweetness from the icing sugar, which enhances its overall complexity and prevents it from being overly heavy. This pairs with the sweet, slightly tart, and refreshing taste of the strawberry jam, which perfectly cuts through the richness of the cream cheese.

The contrasting textures—the crispiness of the bread, the soft, creamy filling, and the juicy jam blend together into a unique combination. This harmony makes every bite a complete and perfect sensory experience of tastes and textures.

It is a blissful experience in a single bite, perfectly balancing crunchy, soft, sweet, rich, and tangy all at once.
