- 🤗 Hello from Thailand on this Sunday! Who here loves eating pineapple? Here, we can enjoy it all year round. It’s a fruit that, besides being eaten fresh, can also be used in various dishes or processed into many different forms. Today, I’m making it into crispy fried pineapple, a snack commonly sold at shops that sell fried treats like fried bananas or fried sweet potatoes. I love the flavor and texture of pineapple when it’s heated, it still retains its juiciness but becomes delicious in a whole new way. Dipping it in batter before frying it in hot oil is a very simple process, and you can definitely do it. I added a little extra texture with white sesame seeds and crushed roasted peanuts, but you can skip those if you prefer.

🍍 Ingredients
- 1 pineapple
- 1 cup crispy frying flour(or tempura/batter mix)
- 3 tablespoons crushed peanuts
- 1 tablespoon white sesame seeds
- A pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup cold water
- Oil for frying

🫕 Procedure
- I’ll start by preparing the pineapple: trim the ends, peel it, slice it into rounds about 1 cm thick, and remove the hard core in the middle.

- Next, prepare the batter for coating.

- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, white sesame seeds, and crushed peanuts.

- Mix until well combined.

- Gradually add the cold water and stir until the batter comes together smoothly, making sure no lumps remain.

- Take the prepared pineapple slices and coat them evenly in the batter.

- Prepare a pan, place it over medium heat, and add oil for frying. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the battered pineapple slices one by one.

- Fry until golden brown and crispy on both sides, then remove and let them drain on a wire rack to remove excess oil. Let them cool slightly.

- Arrange on a plate and serve warm.

- For extra deliciousness, sprinkle with some extra crushed roasted peanuts.

- Crispy fried pineapple is a fusion between the fresh, sweet and tangy taste of pineapple and the hot, crispy texture of fried batter, offering the experience of a crispy exterior with a soft, juicy interior inside. It has the distinctive, fragrant aroma of pineapple.

- It's a snack that transforms something familiar into something new, turning ordinary fruit into a delicious fried treat that is also perfect for munching on or as a dessert after a meal. Give it a try! Thank you for stopping by.🤗🤗
