How are you all today? I hope everyone is doing fine and happy right now. This is me again your friend, @lj1728 to share another simple life story with you all.💕
Last Friday was a special day at school because two of our dear friends celebrated their birthdays this February. Our nurse friend, Kerl, and our teacher friend, Ma’am Paz. Instead of celebrating separately, they decided to have a simple get-together after work at Roberto’s Diner. Everyone happily agreed since it has always been one of our favorite places to eat and bond.
After a long day at work, we headed straight to the venue. I went with three of our other friends from school, and when we arrived, we were the first ones there. The restaurant felt cozy and welcoming, and we immediately chose a comfortable table where we could all sit together.
While waiting for the others, we started chatting about our day, sharing little stories and laughing about random things. It did not take long before the rest of the group arrived one by one, filling the space with even more energy and excitement.
Once everyone was settled, we ordered food to share like pancit, a mexican platter, pizza, and soft drinks. The table quickly became colorful and inviting. The pancit was flavorful and perfect for sharing, symbolizing long life for the celebrants.
The mexican platter added variety to our meal, and of course the pizza was the crowd favorite. As we ate, we made sure Kerl and Ma’am Paz felt extra special. We teased them about getting older but reminded them how grateful we are to have them in our lives.
The gathering was simple yet full of joy. There was endless storytelling, funny memories from school, and lighthearted jokes that made us laugh out loud. For a moment, we forgot about deadlines, paperwork, and responsibilities. It was just us! Friends enjoying good food and each other’s company.
