Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. In my yesterday post I shared a temple in my district, but in this post I want to share a local restaurant in my district again. This local restaurant is a noodle shop. My wife and I like to eat at simple restaurants. So it's another simple noodle shop in the district. I know about this noodle shop from facebook in my local community. This noodle shop was shared on facebook early this month. When we are busy and my wife has no time to cook. So we tried the noodles at this noodle shop. And I wanted to share it.
This noodle shop is called pok pok noodle. It's just 5 kilometers from our home. And it is located on the roadside (Highway 107, Chiang Mai - Fang route). If you are traveling from Chiang Mai through Fang District or go to Chiang Rai Province, when you reach Mae Kha District, Fang District, this noodle shop is on the left (at the small bridge over a canal).
Pok pok noodle shop sells noodles in the owner's home area. It's an outdoor restaurant with no decorations.
The highlight of this noodle shop is the pork rinds. Every noodle menu must have pork rinds. My wife and I ordered noodles in a spicy clear soup (tom yum noodles). In the noodles, there are pork meatballs, roast pork, pork dumplings and pork rinds. The taste of the noodles and the spicy clear soup is delicious.
If you have a chance to travel to Fang District and want to eat noodles, I recommend this noodle shop. It is another delicious noodle shop in this district.
