Here in Krabi, which isn't even very populated, it is extremely common for builders to just walk away and leave all of their trash behind. Vacant lots of land also get turned into dumps pretty fast. I have noticed that some land owners who are not using the land will actually put up big fences around the property to prevent others from turning it into a dump site. It really is a shame that people can't be counted on to just put garbage where it is meant to go. It's not like the process is expensive... my trash pickup fee for what I think is a near unlimited amount is around $1 a month. I can't imagine the people that are transporting this trash to this remote place are spending less than that to dispose of this.

if that is the case here it just goes to show how lazy people are. Rather than make that one trip to the dump it is far easier to just dump it on the ground when nobody is looking even though by doing so they are making the very area that they are trying to sell, ugly.
