Last Monday, it's my day off. My simple plan was to relax at home and just watch a Korean series. But then my Aya was asking "Mama can you buy me pizza?"
And I decided to make the day special by making pizza. Aya had been craving pizza and I planned to make homemade pizza and this time it was my turn to be the cook.
Our bus was 8:30 and excited to hop on the bus and go to town.
-Komarno Town,
We went to Tedy Shop because I forgot to buy Aya’s slippers for school . They need to wear slippers and remove their shoes outside. They all want to keep it clean. safe and comfortable while learning in school. We all know there is a lot of dirt, mud and germ and debris. And by removing them at the door, they keep their classroom clean. After Tedy, we walked to the Billa.
This was the only mozzarella they had left.
When we were at the Billa, we needed to buy all the ingredients. Most of what we needed was in Billa but mozzarella cheese which is most important wasn’t available. I bought different cheese, but it was all ok. More cheese on pizza will be so good but still we needed the mozzarella cheese. So, we made a quick stop at another store to get it. With everything finally in our bags, we went to the bus station and headed home.
Then we went to the counter and paid for everything. So, we made a quick stop at another store to get it-Lidl. In Lidl, finally there was mozzarella cheese, then I bought 4 sacks. Just an extra if we want another pizza at home.
With everything we have in our bags, we went to the bus station and headed home.
After a long day, coming home felt like hitting the reset button on my long day. Aya’s cat Sigipon was waiting patiently by the door. Sigipon is always ready to welcome Aya back home. Just a quiet moment of pure love and it's a small gesture but it means everything. So sweet Sigipon!.I couldn't resist and I knew I had to capture it. so I quickly grabbed my camera and took a photo of the two of them.
And It’s Pizza Time.
After all the grocery for the pizza ingredients, it was time for me to take on the kitchen by making pizza. In my previous post here in this community, my husband had made pizza and this was my first time. I felt excited and the ingredients were all ready.
I carefully prepared the dough, spread the sauce, sprinkled the cheese and more cheese, layered the toppings with spicy sauce and round chili peppers, ham, salama and sweet corn.
The best part was the wait, we watched through the oven door and the aroma of baking pizza filled the house.
When it was done, I sliced into it and shared my homemade pizza for our dinner.
My Monday was well-spent and it was simple, but it was full of love.
