Hello Asean Hive Community

I hope you all are fine today. I have been absence from this community for more than a month. Work is at the peak, and I been busy with dealing with client and vendors. Some of the time I have got at home went to Splinterlands and the rest were for my family. I have decided to spend more time with my mother and that's the main reason you haven't seen me for 5 weeks.

Spending time with your family is very important, as you won't be able to do that anymore once they are gone for good. Ok I have to cut it here, I do not with to preach about family, I will let your own priest to do that lol.

So in the past I talked about making 1.5 USD meal saga as the food price had gone up. And I increased my eating budget to maintain my health. The result was good and bad, bad in term I have got some surgery and physiotherapy going on, good in term that my autoimmune symptom haven't appeared and gone berserk... yet.

So for today 1.5 Meal budget post, I will go with this place

It's my frequent visited place that I haven't visited for months. They only opened at night so I could not have it for my lunch. That day I had to work whole days and got back home late, so my mother did not prepare any meal for me. Rather than making my own, or asking her to make one, I decided to dine out with 1.5 USD budget.

It's simple, a lot simple than before because the budget limit was higher than before, but it was not that higher regarding the price inflation had made everything more pricey.

So this was my order. It costed me around 1.3 USD, still 10% below my budget. So my daily budget spending was on mark. Some people might see this funny, I fought for pennies, but life was like that. We make our saving from tiny to tiny, hoard them into a mountain... from cents onto millions lol

So what did I have on my dish? Well the main one was fried chicken, and I had two side dish which were fried tofu and fried tempeh, or soy cake. Well both of them were made from soybeans lol.

I had some fresh vegetables with red chili paste. The vegetables did not seem so fresh but I thought they were still ok and editable.

Actually I picked this place was not because I wanted to revisit it again. It was not because I wanted to eat something cheap. I just wanted to eat nasi uduk, or Indonesian coconut rice. I was too lazy to drive my car and ordering online food did not work for me, as they focused on western food.

And somehow on that day, after I walked in to a couple other street food stalls, only they who still had some Coconut rice. Maybe other stall's Coconut rice were better so they got sold out first lol.

Anyway have fun with your days, and do not forget to get some good food!
