I am getting better at the moment, I think tomorrow I can say I am at more than 90% heatlhy.. If nothing bad happens while I am sleeping later.
Today I will share you a picture of one of my favorite food. I often eat this as my breakfast and it is one of my comfort food during heavy and hostile condition. I mean it as the condition which I am very stressful or in an exhaustion.
It is the bread with chocolate sprinkles, or in some places it is called as chocolate rice. This is famous in some part of Indonesia, especially when the place has a long history with some Dutch Colony. I believe they are originated from the Dutch with the name of Hagelslag, but here in Indonesia people call it Meses.
However I am not talking about Meses as my topic today. Today it is about the Loaves.
We buy breads in loaves, like the picture above. Some come in 8 slices, but most are sold in 10 and 12 slices. I do not think South East Asia people love to eat 6 slices loaves, because they are thick.
Whether they are the thin 12 slices or the thick 8 slices, I have a simple question here. How long do you need to eat them all? 4 days? or maybe in two days?
Personally I could eat them all in two days, I eat some during breakfast, some during coffee time in the evening, and sometime eat some in midnite. I am a heavy bread eater lol.
I know it is not healthy and bread is one of the most contributing factor in my obesity. I should reduce eating it however it is one of the food that is proven in decades helping me fight my stress. I do not smoke and I do not go to club nor drinking till drunk, So food is my one of my recreation here.
Anyway let me remind you again, how long do you need to eat all one whole loaves? I might send you some rewards if you could answer this one
Anyway eating Meses or Hagelslag needs some butter first, it will help those chocolate sprinkle to get attached on the bread. The problem is that butter is an oil or a fat. You need to get some healthier butter although there is no health butter at all.
Some prefer to go with unsalted butter, but I won't talk about the healthiest here, I will talk the bottom one. The cheaper one usually made from palm oil, however I could only eat the one that made from Sunflower Oil. I could get sick if I eat the palm oil one.
If you are still younger and healthier, do not eat too many palm oil butter. You could end up like me lol. You would end up having some issue with your cardiovascular.
