As I arrived their, My Aunt was very happy to see me and while waiting to others to come, we having a lot of wonderful conversations with my Aunt.
It was already 9 in the morning when other of my relatives also arrived bringing big nets. Before we proceed fishing, My Aunt and My Uncle was very busy feeding the commercialized telapia fish with feeds and it takes almost an hours since they owned lots of big fish tanks contains lots of fish inside. They also checked the fish tank first to see where big telapia fish can be found so we can easy to looked for any big telapia fish to catch.
While waiting them to start fishing, I kept myself exploring the place so I wont get bored. This was once a hatchery areas where lots of prawns cultured but as many years has past, the place was abandoned but now they developed into a fish culture area. Insteas of prawns, they put lots of commercialized telapia fish and some of it are already sold at the Market. The fish tanks is made of solid concrete but as the intense heat and earthquakes happens here, some of the structures are already contains lots of cracks and cannot be use anymore.
Finally we started to catched lots of fish, and we start to went here in this small fish tanks. My Cousin was having an easy time catching those big telapia fish because the tanks is not really deep. He used this long handled net so He can avoid getting wet. He was having a lot of enjoyable time catching the fish and He was very happy everytime when He catched big telapia Fish.
We noticed that the fish tank we went first was already contains small telapia fish and it is time to went to the other big fish tanks. This time it is quite very hard to catched the fish because the fish tank is very deep. But my cousin was trying to catch using his long handled net but It was very difficult to used. That is why, my Aunt suggested to used a long and wide net attaching round small Timber as ballast. But this time it must be getting down inside of the fish tank. This will be truly an adventure for them to catch the fish.
First, they checked the net to see if there are any holes on it. It is good to checked it so fish cannot escape and after a few minutes of checking the net, they started to get down at the big fish tank using a metal ladder. My Uncle hold the ladder so it wont get down at the water also while my Cousin was getting ready to went inside of the fish tank.
This was their first time to getting inside of the big fish tanks and aside of that, very first time to catch lots of fish using a big net. We also having a funny experienced while fishing and laughter all the time while catching the fish. I was very amazed on how this big fish tank contains lots of big telapia fish and gladly the fish tanks is not really direct hit with the intense heat from the sun.
After a few minutes of catching the fish, we harvested almost 30 big telapia fish. My Cousin was started to climb up very carefully while some of my cousins was assisting them holding the nets with fish and placed here in this plain water storage tank. We are very happy to have lots of telapia fish catched and a perfect food for meal. If we brought this at the Market, it will cost 450 Pesos Per Kilo.
After that, we cleaned the telapia fish so we can fried it for our lunch. They carefully cleaned the fish one-by-one while I also prepared the frying pan to use. It is better to work together so it will finish on time and we can eat our lunch on time also.
It takes almost half an hour of cleaning the fish and after that, we marinated it and begin to fry. Frying telapia fish takes almost half an hour also but gladly we used big frying pan so we can fried lots of fish in time. This is the food for our lunch today, and I also brought few telapia fish at home.
This kind of bonding helps the family and relatives relationship stay stronger. It can produced a memorable happens in life.
