We have a couple of Greek places now that have opened up offering similar stuff to what you ordered. I think they call these Giro's which is like a pita/kebab thingy with a little more flavor. It is great to try new things as it can get a bit stale and boring after a while.
I like the Giros they have a unique taste because of the sauce. Another place but fries inside of the pita but I don't like that. IT makes it super dry and it is like putting rice inside of a burrito. It adds nothing to the flavor but just makes it look bigger
I noticed that as well as lots of places fill it up with chips which I guess makes it look bigger without being full of meat.
