Hello Jammers! Yet, it’s another rainy day here in Province of Bohol.
Going back when I was in Province of Cebu, I was invited with my friends that we meet at one of our friends’ houses and having a food trip. Since, we both don’t have a work on that day, although, I travelled 47 km away from my home. I’ll really enjoy when I’m with them because we’ve been together for several years since our 1st year of college till now.
Welcome to my 7th blog and I share to you how to cook one of the most delicious foods here in the Philippines and we call it “ginataang manok” in here.
Let’s go jammers!
Here’s the ingredients:
Chicken
Grated coconut
Lemongrass
Half of garlic
1 Onion
1 table teaspoon of seasoning
2 table teaspoons of salt
Raw papaya
Horseradish
Chili (we call it siling spada)
Ginger
Note: The chicken should be whole because that's where you put the lemongrass, garlic, ginger, and chili peppers inside the chicken. For sauce you only need soy sauce, vinegar and chili if you want, depending on you.
Let’s Cooking Time!
The first thing you need to do is boil the coconut milk. It depends on the soup you want, as long as you only need to do is to squeeze it only once.
After several minutes, once the coconut milk is boiled, add the chicken and after 5 minutes add the spices.
That's all you have to do, it's very simple, right? So, you can taste it now.
You want to try it?
Maybe next time when you visit here in the Philippines you need to try to eat this cause it’s really good. That's not all, there are other Filipino dishes you can taste it.
Thank you for reading.
See you on my next blog.
