I guess it's not only because we often see these dishes in K-dramas but also their food suit our palate. Korean food is your comfort food especially that you like spicy food so much. Oh my, I miss tteokbokki or spicy rice cakes. I remember eating this after work with my friends, we would stop by at a small Korean shop. A small cup of tteokbokki cost about 1 USD that time.
