     Comfort foods are universal no matter what part of the world you're in, and these foods can often stir up childhood memories or make you feel all warm on the inside. My family and I have arrived in the USA and are somewhat settled, this accounts the lack of posts lately, but now I'm doing my best to catch up. The comfort foods are certainly different here than in Southeast Asia, but there have been a few comfort foods that my family has enjoyed here.

     A bowl of chicken noodle soup, a hot cookie, perhaps a family recipe handed down from a great grandparent, even a haul of goods from 7-Eleven for those of you in modern cities. I aim to introduce some more of my childhood comfort foods to my Cambodian family while here in the USA, but I can't promise I'll have time to share it on Hive due to the busy nature of our current circumstances. I look forward your entries and getting ASEAN Hive fully back online.

Hello, how are you? ASEAN's challenge this week sounds interesting, so I decided to join. My entry is about the artist's perspective, which means it involves art materials. I have a lot of art materials here, so yeah, they're my main entry LOL. I never knew that looking at them close up is amazing. What caught my eye is the oil pastels I took, the texture looks like when you apply lipstick on paper, that's what it looks like. Keep scrolling and see more macro photos I took. Enjoy!

Hello! Yes, finally I get to participate again to ASEAN Hive's Weekly Challenge! This week's challenge focuses on Macro Photography. I believe this is going to be a fun challenge because most of us enjoy taking photos and with cameras and phones having better camera resolution nowadays, capturing a subject nicely is almost effortless. As Katy Perry says in one of her songs, "What a time, to be alive!"

I was supposed to head out tomorrow morning and take some photos during our walk, but I don't think I'll be able to since I'm not feeling well. I'd rather rest more tonight after my classes to prepare myself for my weekend class. XD Because of this, I decided to go out during my break and look for interesting things to take photos of around the house. When I came out of my room, my mom was cooking, and I saw the first thing I wanted to take a photo of.
