Have a great and blissful day, fellow Hivers!!
Here's another version of "Pork Stir Fry with Veggies" that I cooked yesterday and wanted to share with you here. As we all know, there are various ways of cooking pork stir fry with veggies.
They vary significantly in ingredients, cooking methods, and taste, as we all have different preferences in flavor. So here is my version, this time, of pork stir fry with veggies.
Pork Belly Stir Fry with Veggies
INGREDIENTS:
- Pork Belly
- Carrots
- Broccoli
- Cauliflower
- Baguio Beans
- Onions
- Bell Pepper
- Garlic
- Salt
- Soy Sauce
- Canola Oil
- Magic Sarap Seasoning
- Ground Black Pepper
PREPARATION:
Wash the pork thoroughly and then cut it into the size you like.
Wash and peel carrots, and then cut into your desired shape.
Wash the Baguio beans, remove the hard parts on both sides and then cut.
Wash broccoli and cauliflower, and then cut or slice them.
After washing all the veggies, soak them in cold water individually.
Peel and wash onions, then slice into small pieces.
Crush and peel garlic, then slice into small pieces.
Wash and cut the bell pepper into cubes.
Then set them aside.
COOKING TIME:
Heat the cooker, and then sauté pork belly until it becomes light brown and its own oil renders. (There's only a little oil from the pork itself because I used pork with more lean meat, so I added a little canola oil to sauté onions and garlic.)
Move the meat aside to make space at the center of the pan, add a little canola oil, then fry onions and garlic until fragrant...When the aroma comes out, mix it with the meat.
Then, add water and a pinch of salt. Cover the pan or cooker and let it simmer for 30 minutes or until it evaporates and the pork becomes tender.
Add the carrots, sauté for a minute, then add the Baguio beans, sauté for another minute.
Add a little water, season it with soy sauce, Magic Sarap seasoning and ground black pepper. Continue cooking for about three minutes to avoid overcooking the carrots and beans.
Then add the cauliflower, broccoli and bell pepper. Cover the pan and continue cooking for only two minutes. Make sure to just half-cook the broccoli and cauliflower.
And there it is!! All done...
It's so yummy with a different taste from my previous versions of this recipe. It's really exciting to experiment with different ways or methods in cooking food, especially for our family.
That would be all for today, and I hope you like it.
Thank you so much for visiting my post, and God bless.🙏❤
