A Random Day at Home with My Family

Hello dear Hivers...😊
How is everyone today..?

I hope all is well with the grace of our Almighty God.
I want to share some random, funny moments at home.

Last night, my daughter @tegoshei came into our bedroom to bid and kiss us goodnight. We always did this ever since she was a kid. She stayed for some minutes, and we were chit-chatting while watching our cutie Arashi playing in our bed.

My husband was lying in bed listening to us and watching Arashi. We were kind of teasing him about his pose, which is like a mermaid...hahaha. So, I jokingly told my daughter to draw him like he's a model.

So instantly, Shei made a sketch, but all of a sudden, Max barked aloud outside, so my husband came out to check on him. Then Shei said, “My model ran away, I can't finish my sketch.” So again, I jokingly told her to just finish it with Arashi's body since she was only able to sketch the head part of her father. And here is the result.

We laughed out loud with it until her father came and also laughed with us. She labeled it “JUNASHI” because her father’s nickname is JUN, plus our fur baby ARASHI.😀😅

Well, this is really Shei's doing every time she comes in our room. She'll just grab or get my papers and pens and automatically write or draw something.

She also drew something else after she finished “JUNASHI”. These were her random drawings that night.

I can still find some of her old writings and drawings from my desk, too. Here they are.

Some funny moments continued today. It's the 5th of the month and my daughter usually doesn't open some classes during the 5th and 20th of the month. So today, she has a lot of time to do some stuff for HIVE and help us with some chores.

Earlier today, she helped me cut vegetables and grate some cheese for my cooking. My husband helped too in opening the cans, so I have two funny assistants today. ☺

My menu for today's meal was "utan bisaya", “fish paksiw” and “cream-cheesy tuna” for my daughter since she can't eat fresh fish. Thankfully, she can eat canned fish like sardines and tuna. This is her favorite tuna recipe.

I was only experimenting this at first to remove the fishy smell of the canned tuna. But it turned out tasty, and my daughter likes it a lot, and it has become her favorite. She even likes it as a sandwich spread for breakfast and snacks, and she likes it paired with pasta, too.
So, this is how I cooked it.

Preheat the pan or cooker and then pour two cans of century tuna, one can is spicy and the other one is flakes in oil. Cook the tuna until the juice lessens or evaporates.

Then add evaporated milk or fresh milk, much better if soya milk. Then stir and let it simmer. Season with just garlic powder because the tuna has its flavor already.

Then add the creamer, continue stirring until the sauce thickens and then add the grated cheese. Stir and mix them well until they thicken.

And that's it. Transfer to a plate or bowl, and sprinkle some spring onions or parsley.

These are our food for the day, and we enjoyed them. This is how simple my family is.... we can laugh over simple and random things at home.

That would be all for today, and I wish you all a happy family life, no matter how simple it may be.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and God bless💞🙏

The sketches are unique and cute. She reminds me of myself in my younger days newly doing sketches too. And the "utan bisaya" with the paksiw fish are both my favorite. This is my usual dish requested from my mom.

so yummy... a perfect combination.
