Hello @asean.hive may I know if what they should need to do to be remove as post dumper since they are newbie. If they engage, upvote and post is there a chance that the mute button or being a post dumper will be removed so they can continue their journey being a Asean Hive'r. Your reply is much appreciated :) Thank you so much :)
I usually give three or more recommendations to at the very least engage. I do remove people from the muted list if/when they change behavior to more sustainable ways. In the last month I was notified by HiveWatchers of a massive new batch of bot accounts that I found posting in ASEAN Hive, and it took a long time to weed them out and mute them from ASEAN Hive.
In addition to this, there has been a huge wave of new ASEAN Hivers, but few of them were replying to comments, engaging with others' content in genuine ways, and generally contributing to the community. The magic of our community I think, is our engagement, so I do work hard to make sure the folks that make ASEAN Hive feel like a community are allowed to shine.
Sorry for the ramble, I hope it makes sense. Anyhow, yes I unmute folks. Someone can send me a message or comment and I will see it. The last few months have been a bit hectic, haven't had time to post from my blog or even reply to ASEAN Hive comments, but I've kept the community going as it's a priority. I'm in the USA visiting family at the moment also, so thanks for your patience while ASEAN Hive experiences some hiccups 😀👍.
