2026: glimpse of the day

The day started on a noticeably busy street. Traffic was tightly controlled by enforcement officers who stayed alert throughout the morning due to the ongoing ASEAN Summit being held here in Cebu, including Lapu-Lapu City. The presence was reassuring—it felt like another safe yet bustling workday unfolding.

At work, the pace was fast and steady. There were many job orders to complete, and we were eager to finish everything on time. The day flowed with purpose—busy but productive, driven by the goal of delivering better quality and greater output. It was tiring, but fulfilling in its own way.

After work, just like on other days when there’s no free company ride, we had to commute back to our boarding house. Before heading home, we decided to treat ourselves to a Korean buffet dinner at the food camp.

As the rain poured down, we gathered around the grill, sizzling pork and enjoying the warmth of the meal despite the wet evening. The sound of rain mixed with laughter and the smell of grilled meat made the moment extra comforting.

We ate until we were completely full—satisfied and happy. With tired bodies and content hearts, it was finally time to head home and rest, ending another full and meaningful day.
