We've extremely heat now! +40 Celsius. It's hard for many people but it's even harder for plants that are under the sun all day long.
We can stay under the roof, find shadow, but many plants hate heat even more than people.
I was very sorry for our cucumbers that grew so good in June when the weather was cool, and now they don't feel good. They stopm growing, and some of plants have become dry already...
I decided to help them somehow and bought a shadow net. At first I hoped it would be enough to cover just the upper part of cucumbers home. But no...it didn't work well... So I bought more net to cover 2 other sides too and to save plants from the morning sun as well.
I hope now it will be better.
The heat should go away soon, and we are waiting for better garden life.
Now we water plants well a day after day and ask them to be patient and wait for cool weather.
