Having Boiling Shells As A Snack At Night

in Eating Out4 months ago

Hi hivers, good evening from here. Today I will share my experience of eating boiling shells 🐚 We called it Kerang rebus, we ate it on the roadside in Medan city. Kerang rebus is a food that can be said to be a snack of the local community which is usually sale at night. It's one of famous place that sold kerang rebus in my city. It's Kerang Rebus Sumatera.

This time we ate at Kerang Rebus Sumatera in Medan, Indonesia. There are several types of shells for sale, like Blood Clams, Rock Cockles, Mussels, Snails, Bamboo Clams, and many more.

These boiled clams are best eaten with pineapple sauce or we called it sambal nanas as a dipping sauce. The mixture of pineapple, cayenne pepper, and peanuts is the best pairing for these boiled clams. It tastes very fresh.

I came here with two other friends, we came here for homecoming. He's been traveling for a long time and it's very exciting to eat this boilng shells. We had Cockle dan Mussels.

It's so fresh and juicy. They open from 5pm till 1am. It's like our snack in the night.
Because it's late so it's best not to have too much hehe. This is the best combo to end our dinner.

That's all that i want to share with you, guys. Good night and had a good rest!
