T & T Supermarket Lunch - Fried Rice
T & T Supermarket is large national supermarket chain in Canada. It specializes in Asian produce, food products, kitchen related items, Asian beauty products as well as prepared hot and cold foods. Most of their products are Chinese but they do have some Japanese, Korean, Filipino products.
For a quick lunch, I have this prepared fried rice. Finding meals under 10 CAD is not easy unless you know your spots in downtown Toronto. If I want quick and inexpensive meals, T & T Supermarket is one of my go-to spots.
The taste of this fried rice is okay. Some may find it bland as it is not too oily nor salty. For something just under 10 CAD, you cannot complain too much. Rating: 7 out of 10.
Snack @ Hero Dumplings
After my first Pokemon Perfect Order prerelease event, I did have some time to walk around outside, get some fresh air and have a snack. I wanted something fast and inexpensive as a snack. I revisit Hero Dumplings.
I went with their steamed chicken and cabbage dumplings. It is six pieces for 3.99 CAD plus tax. These dumplings are not the worst nor the best. After around 1 minute, the order was ready to pick up. Their steamed dumplings do tend to be ready fast. Rating: 7.5 out of 10
