Hi. I revisit Juicy Dumpling in Toronto for a quick lunch.
Juicy Dumpling Restaurant
Juicy Dumpling is a fast food Chinese restaurant located in Toronto's Chinatown area. The intersection is Spadina and Dundas.
This place is known for their soup dumplings with pork filling (Xiaolongbao) and low prices. Prices have gone up over the last five years. They used to advertise 6 pcs soup dumplings with pork for 2.99 CAD. It is now at 4.99 CAD.

I went with their 6 pcs of Mini Soup Dumplings with Pork and one order of their Pan Fried Chicken Dumplings that comes in 4 pieces. After tax, the total was around 11 CAD and change.
The soup dumplings were good as usual. No issues there.
I have decided to try their chicken pan fried dumplings. In the past around 5 years ago, I have tried them but don't remember what they were like.
Note that this stringy thing is not hair! I removed it anyways before eating.
These pan fried chicken dumplings were pretty good. A good crunch at the bottom with some good chicken filling on the inside.
My lunch here was around 12PM and it was not busy to my surprise. It got busier later when I passed by this place at around 1PM.
Last time I just ordered the steamed soup dumplings. I received my order within 1 minute. Because I ordered the pan fried chicken dumplings, the wait time was a little longer. Maybe 5 minute wait time at the maximum.
Overall, I do like this place. This will remain as one of my eating options when I make the occasional visit to Toronto.
