My wife and I went to Chicago about ten years ago and I didn't feel like it was too bad. We tried to stay right in the same area though down by the aquariums and House of Blues. I can imagine some of the other parts are pretty bad.

        Not a place to explore a whole lot, that's for sure. Just like when I lived in Philadelphia, had to constantly keep your eye's open even when you're downtown. It's sad that places so nice can turn so ugly...

              That is pretty sad. I have never been to Philly. I'd like to visit it one day though.
