After participating in Inktober this year, I came up with a way of working on drawings that I really liked, which basically involves painting the shadows with ink and then adding detail to the drawing with mechanical pencils, as I normally do. Hola gente bonita! ¡Espero estén súper bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Después de haber participado en el Inktober de este año, me quede con una forma de trabajar los dibujos que me gusto bastante y es básicamente que pintar las sombras con tinta y luego detallar el dibujo con los portaminas como normalmente lo hago, así que acompáñenme a ver el proceso de esta versión del Sanador del océano de Holozing.

I started by making a sketch, structuring the original character as much as possible to my version. I also used a reference I found on the internet of a boy, and rather than taking it as inspiration, I liked the pose he was in.
Comencé haciendo el boceto, estructurando los mas posible todo el personaje original a mi versión. Me ayude también de una referencia que encontré en internet de un chico y mas que tomarlo como inspiración, me gusto la pose que tenia.

Once I had the sketch well structured, I cleaned it up a bit with a kneaded eraser to remove the excess graphite and get it ready for painting. Basically, I took the paint and a brush and started adding shadows to the drawing.
Cuando tuve todo el boceto bien estructurado, lo que hice después fue limpiarlo un poco con un borrador moldeable, para así quitar el exceso de grafito y dejarlo listo para pintarlo. Básicamente lo que hice fue tomar la pintura y un pincel y comenzar a agregar sombras al dibujo.

I love the line art style, but honestly, I often find it a little lacking in detail. That's when I decide to add more life to the drawing, which is what we see in this process: a few simple shadows with paint bring the drawing to life. I finish the character by detailing all the mechanical pencils and adding a few highlights, and that's it, folks, that's all there is to it.
Me encanta el estilo arte lineal, pero la verdad muchas veces se me quedado un poco corto en detalles, es ahí en donde decido agregar mas vida al dibujo y es lo que vemos en este proceso, unas simples sombras con pintura la den mas vida al dibujo. Finalizo el personaje detallando todo los los portaminas y agregando unos cuantos brillos en el mismo y listo amigos, eso seria todo.
