Hmm, I'm not sure what's available on Amazon but I use 5.11 tac-boots. They usually last me six years and I use them hard and often so I know they are of good quality. Some prefer hiking boots but I like tactical boots. Having said that, I have multiple pars of Merrells which are awesome boots as well. So, if you were to want straight up hiking boots maybe Merrells are the way to go but considering your terrain is quite hard on boots and you want greater longevity something like a 5.11 boot may be the way to go. I recommend quality though, buying cheap saves money, but not when you have to re-buy over and over.
