Surviving from what was built in the past, but trying to connect with the present. She knows what she's doing and understands her own limits.
Anyway, this new album doesn't bring anything new to the table (despite being a decent project after all), not even for the fans.

That's a great and honest review of this album. I recently came across the video clip in which she's swimming with a dolphin and her high pitched voice sends the dolphin into squeals of delight. I wonder if she still has that same vocal range.
Vocally, she's still great. I just think she has a hard time connecting with the present. I mean, she's great at what she does, but she seems stuck in the past (which isn't exactly a bad thing, but it doesn't bring anything innovative).
