Never heard the term “microblogging” but, yes, that functions for me. If there is substance and a boomerang action engagement in place, it’s not small talk.
Agreed and while I appreciate the format I think that contributes a lot to that as well; it can be pretty difficult to have an in-depth conversation with enforced character limits.
