Mom's garden #sunday

She must have a green thumb. It's pretty

This is only the tropical jungle part. The other side is the vegetable garden with an avocado tree (from which I picked 3 avocados today), raspberries, strawberries and a bunch of edible stuff😄

The orange and yellow among the green really set this off!

Those are heliconias. Some people call them lobster claws. They look very tropical, don't they? 🪷

Do you know the name of this plant with the big leaves?

Alocasia odora, it's also known as night-scented lily or giant elephant ear. My mom gave me a part of this exsct plant and is now part of my urban garden in my downtown apartment.
