I swear here in the US people started in August with "summerween". Probably driven by corporations trying to up their profits. The amount of people displaying giant skeletons in their yards is quite disturbing. lol.

Each of these festivals seems to extend each year. I think they should last no longer than a week.
It's gotten big here. Very commercial and mostly for kids. A bit like Christmas and Easter really if you are not religious.
