I think it all comes down if it needa any maintenance, crazy but cool idea for anyone into terrariums, plants, small creatures, looks thick too

They say it would be self-maintaining for quite some time, just ocasionally one would need to add water.
Perhaps moisture that condenses in the container would be enough as water for the plants. 🌱💧🤓

That is the idea. There are many organisms who live almost from water alone (plus sunlight), like lichens (in fact I am writing a post about lichens currently😀).
It would be cool to have some cool zero-maintenance plants at some places. 🌱😎

Oh, I would absolutely love it! It looks very cool and if it reminds me of an aquarium, then why not?! I don't mind being called weird for it.
One question, though. If it breaks, does that mean the content spills away?😫
