What's your thoughts on data centers? I don't know very much about them thought I'd see what y'all's opinions are.

it’s the new thing to get upset about i suppose lol i honestly haven’t looked into it.
From what I read they're an eye soar and use a lot of utilities that apparently can cost the surrounding people in the area. I don't understand why the cost is transferred to the people?! Why they can't pay for the utilities themselves!
I trust the government far as I could pick it up and throw it! Guess you could say I have trust issues🤣
necessary... but rather would like to see a distributed/federal network of computers signing in to an entity to act as data center, not that people hadn't tried that though :D
My husband says they're necessary too. I don't really know how I feel about them but Louisiana is bringing them here. I didn't like the fact the utilities get passed on to the local people around them. But I think they're trying to work on that.
But it's seems crazy how they pop up allover NA, specially how. I bet most off them will be gone in 20 years, due to consildations on the market. Keep your water safe and make'm pay for the load on the energy grid.
I think they should pay for their own utilities. Or even build their own power/water plants
