I thought Hive was an alternative to social media, But it's less social now than when I first started. Loads don't go out and about, just post. Then if you do comment, you might just get a monetary vote or no acknowledgement at all.
Yeah, I've noticed it's a lot less social now than when I started a couple of years ago. You seem to be riding the wave as best as it can be ridden! Making the most of the quiet time to continue your growth here. And, you can have my super tiny vote too :D
Interesting point about the quiet time. With BTC trading close to its ATH for a while now, I am of the opinion we are in a Bull run. HIVE is what it is and I think this quiet time is the norm for the Hive platform. We need to make it fun.

We all know (or should know) how much it pays to earn extra rewards by delegating our HIVE POWER (for example) to other projects, but...
... How much of your own HP do you keep to YOURSELF to help the users you choose, and not just those that curation projects choose for you?
I have about 27% of my HP delegated. Manual curation has been fairly good to me lately so I am trying to keep it at around that percentage.
I also keep some liquid Hive around to buy HBD on the internal market when prices are right.
It's always a good idea to leave part of your HP with you to help vote for people close to you, in your network. I think 50/50 is always a good ratio to leave the HP with you and the other part delegated.
That's very good. Keep working like this and the biggest rewards will surely find a way to reach you.
I don't have HP to delegate just yet. Presently, I am mostly concerned about staking enough to help my RC replenish faster 🥺

Well, I enjoy stacking the token, but I'd be kidding if I gave it the rocket ship. We have lots of work to do to adjust whitepaper to prolong rewards indefinitely and increase player base for more authentic token demand.

And how much your HP grows depends on your engagement with the network (posting and curating)
Your votes only count when the total reward of the post is above 2 cents (0.02), this might be why, I struggled a lot with it at the start
By building your HP stake. That can be accomplished in several ways, buy Hive and stake it (fastest route), engage and post and hope people notice you and upvotes your content or basically find a community that fits you and start posting in it and hopefully they support you :)
You need to have more Hive Power (HP) which is to stake the hive token. You earn HP with your posts and comments, if people vote for them after 7 days you get part of the payment in HP. You can also buy hive and power up.
For example, I have 36 Hive tokens (liquid Hive). If I want to put them in HP, which is the token's stake, I'll use the first option "Stake (Power Up)", so the token will be in stake.
You can earn rewards through posts, and engagements or you could buy Hive and power up.

Yes, it was very engaging the whole way through. Some books take a while to "spin up" and others kinda lose steam, but this was very enjoyable the whole time.
