@sagarkothari88 What difference does it make whether I select HiveSuite, Snaps or Snapie when posting a short-form post? 🤔

Valid question.

Whichever app you select, based on that, JSON_METADATA will be updated accordingly.

Here are 3 different snaps I've done with 3 different app selection

ok, thanks 👍🏽

Curation/UI choice and supporting the site you like best.

But ultimately, those three options are Peakd snaps, right?

They show up in the same container, but peakd is the only one that curates them all equally.

Oh and now Snapie and Waves show Waves and Snaps mixed together into the same feed, while Peakd doesn't and Hive Suite shows the separate feeds in the same window. There are clear differences (EDIT) Waves now shows all shortform in one feed, including InLeo

yes and you still can choose separate feeds like in peakd, but in the end it‘s three different main shortform areas/containers … inleo, peakd and ecency - threads, snaps and waves.

Right, but what exactly is the point you are trying to make? It seems like your original question was rhetorical

I thought there might’ve been a fourth or more shortform container after all. So, depending on the selection made when posting in HiveSuite, the posts are curated differently, and that’s the only difference, right?!

No, the UI and the options available through it are the main difference. HiveSuite curates what's posted from their platform, regardless of the sub-platform you choose for your content, because you are still posting it from HiveSuite

okidoki 👍🏽

No difference I think.

why the options then? 🤔
