You know guys, its not really that hard to figure out. Price keeps on going down, because we keep on printing more into the market. If more people buy, more people power up, and less hive goes into the market, the bleeding stops.
But i thought i could sell and sell and sell. I was promised … post = make money
Hive was essentially the 1st UBI(Universal Basic Income) experiment that has lasted the longest, but like all the other UBI experiments after it, it will always fail if you can't find a way to back the inflation, no matter the market conditions. Steem did start @. 001 and grew
If we can find a way to slow down the printing the growing community of Hive power up users on HIve will drive price up.
What we need is not exactly to slow down the printing, it is to balance the printing with the inflow of new capital. I feel the printing needs to be better focused on author/curation and witness rewards, with the DHF switched to loans not grants. And we really need apps (like Snapie) which can bring in non-Hivers who will invest.
It's simple to understand, but I don't find it wrong who are selling also. I think they also need the money in real life. Besides, most of the people keep 50% in HP also. So, I don't think people stop selling for the ideology. People now think that if they sell it later, the price will drop more. At least I can understand their thoughts. I can keep holding because I can keep going without using the money from Hive in real life.
I don't think there is enough hive being printed. I think you all are failing the community. There should be 10x more coins in the market. Let freedom ring. Who doesn't want to buy 10m for $1. Seems like an ideal scenario.
I don't know. It sounds simple but I like the idea of getting 10M for $1 USD. Let's stick to the US economy. Best in the world. Let's take an example from the world overlords. They print and print and print. The demand is stronger than the supply. PRINT PRINT PRINT
We can power up to earn so that ought to be standard. I get that some people need the money, but for many of us it's not really worth cashing out now. We should focus on what can add value.
