we dry this kind of banana out in the sun when I was young that makes it more brittle and crunchy when fried with brown sugar so delicious and nostalgic for me
if you slice them thinly and deep fry with some sugar on top you can make banana chips
people in my country would normally use the word banana chips 😆 plantain is rarely used or might even be foreign as far as I am concerned but whatever we call them they will still taste delicious
You're right. Here, we have a specie called banana but this particular species is known as plantain. But both are good for chips.
