This weekend I attended the MegaXP convention, for all things hobbies and boardgames.

The closest I've played is chess, play monopoly briefly. I appreciate board games for their relaxed yet intensive gameplay.
I used to play chess competitively back in highschool. If you enjoy intensive gameplays I suggest going down the rabbit hole of what board games offer. I've played very intensive, very fun and very complex games!
